About Richard James Ryder, ESQ. CFLS

Richard James Ryder served honorably as a United States Naval Officer in the Vietnam War from 1969 -1972. He began studying California Family Law in 1973.   While in law school, he was awarded the school’s most prestigious American Jurisprudence Scholarship Awards for Academic Excellence in the subjects of California Family Law.  In 2016, he will have successfully practiced California Family Law for over 39 years.  He is recognized by his colleagues as an expert in California Family Law.  Since 1993, he has been certified by the bar association of the State of California (Board of Legal Specialization) as a “Specialist” in Family Law.  He has served as a panelist for the statewide, continuing-education-of-the bar program, “Dividing Property on Dissolution”, and he has served as the chairman of the Family Law Section of the Desert Bar Association of Riverside County, California.  Appointed to the Riverside County Family Law Mediation Panel, he provides Mediation Services for both represented and non-represented parties. Attorney Ryder also serves as a Private Judge.  100% of Attorney Ryder’s legal practice is devoted to Family Law issues.  Attorney Ryder is completely accessible to his clients at all times.
